Arts, culture & creative sector consulting

I am an arts, culture and creative industries leader and consultant with more than three decades’ experience across the public, nonprofit and creative sectors — from national cultural agencies to community-driven organisations and place-based cultural initiatives in Western Sydney.

Through Krissie Scudds & Associates I work with organisations, teams and creative practitioners to support audience and market development, stakeholder and community engagement, strategy and communications, program design and organisational transition. My approach is collaborative, research-informed and grounded in lived sector experience.

I’ve held senior roles including Chief Executive Officer at Penrith Performing & Visual Arts, and have led national youth and digital culture programs such as Noise, The Program and the Qantas Spirit of Youth Awards (SOYA 365). Across these roles I’ve supported emerging, young and diverse creatives, built partnerships, stewarded change and helped organisations connect meaningfully with their communities.

At this stage of my career, my work is increasingly focused on purposeful, values-aligned projects where culture, community, leadership and care intersect.
